Based in Podgorica, Caeli Travel plans private tours around the interests, starting point and pace of each group. Its programme reaches well beyond the bay, while keeping food, guiding and time at each stop part of the experience.
“Everything we do, we do with our hearts, with never ending passion, real care and attention to each detail.”
Dino, founder of Caeli Travel
An idea that began on Durmitor

Caeli traces its beginning to a sunrise hike in Durmitor. In the company’s account, the wish to share that landscape became the starting point for a Montenegro travel business. The name draws on the Latin word caelum, associated with the sky and the heavens.
Today, Caeli describes itself as an incoming travel company and destination management company. Its team combines guiding with itinerary planning, offering ready-made routes as well as trips adapted to a visitor’s interests. The office base is Podgorica; the experiences span the coast, the interior and the northern mountains.
A private day, shaped around your group
A published route provides the starting point. Caeli asks about your priorities, pace, budget and practical needs before preparing an itinerary. You can discuss changes rather than assuming every stop or departure time is fixed. The proposal should explain the route, price and inclusions before you agree to it.
For visitors staying in Kotor, the pickup town matters. Some routes begin locally; others are based around Podgorica, Budva or Cetinje and need an additional transfer from the bay. Give the operator your actual hotel when requesting a quote so the day’s timing and transport are clear.
Start with the bay and its old towns

Kotor and Perast combines a guided introduction to Kotor with lunch in Perast and a boat visit to Our Lady of the Rocks. It brings the town, waterfront and island church into one seven-hour outing. If you want to stay on foot, the Kotor food-tasting tour pairs the old town’s churches and squares with lunch and local flavours.
Further along the coast, the Budva and Hawaii Island route combines a town walk with a boat ride to St Nikola. Stari Bar offers a different balance: a historic settlement, a walk to the Turcini waterfalls and a restaurant meze stop. Read the individual itinerary to compare walking requirements and what the food stop includes.
Inland for mountains, monasteries and wine

Lovcen, Njegusi and Cetinje link a mausoleum visit with village produce and the former royal capital. Ostrog is a more focused monastery outing, covering the upper and lower complexes with a traditional lunch.
Lake Skadar brings a boat trip, Besac Fortress and a family winery into the same day. The dedicated wine tour visits Sipcanik, Zenta Vucinic and Purple Eye Estate near Podgorica. For a longer mountain day, compare Durmitor and Tara Canyon with the Bjelasica jeep safari. These are substantial outings, so leave room in your plan for the full advertised duration and confirm the return time from your hotel.
