Accommodation in Kotor spans the full range from boutique hotels in medieval stone buildings inside the Old Town to self-catering apartments along the bay road in Dobrota and Prčanj, and budget hostels a short walk from the main gates. The Old Town itself is the most sought-after location but has limited parking and no vehicle access within the walls. Bay-road properties in Dobrota and the surrounding settlements offer more space, easier access by car and, in many cases, direct waterfront access or bay views.

Availability through July and August is tight across all accommodation types and early booking is advisable.
