The upper hillside offers walking routes with elevated views across to the northern shore and toward Kotor, and the rocky waterline gives access to swimming along a coastline that sees far fewer visitors than the beaches closer to the Old Town. The Blue Cave on the outer coast is accessible by boat from operators based nearby.

Donji Stoliv is a quiet base for visitors wanting proximity to Kotor without the noise and foot traffic of the Old Town.
