Kotor Supermarkets

The supermarket offer around Kotor concentrates along the bay road rather than inside the Old Town walls. The Voli supermarket inside the Kamelija shopping centre, about five minutes on foot from the Sea Gate, is the largest outlet closest to the historic centre and runs the longest hours in the area, typically 07:00 to 22:00. A second Voli, with a larger floor plan and better parking, sits on the main bay road in Dobrota, about 2.5 kilometres north of the Old Town.

The Idea chain operates a branch at Šuranj, on the bay road between Kotor marina and the Dobrota turn. The VG supermarket network has several smaller convenience-format outlets along the coast road, filling the gap for fresh produce, dairy and household basics between the larger anchor stores.

Inside the Old Town walls there are no full supermarkets; the nearest options are small convenience shops in the lanes near the North Gate on Trg od Drva, carrying ambient groceries, water, beer and snacks at a premium markup. Most chain stores accept card payment. Market hours run broadly from 07:00 to 21:00 in summer and 08:00 to 20:00 in winter. The green market outside the Sea Gate on the south side of the Old Town sells fresh produce, cheese, honey and local vegetables in the mornings; Saturday is the busiest day, typically from 07:00 to noon.
