The building features a symmetrical stone facade with decorative window frames, balconies and carved details characteristic of the Baroque style. Inside, the museum displays maritime artefacts, model ships, navigational instruments, uniforms, paintings and documents tracing the seafaring history of Boka Bay from the medieval period through the nineteenth century. The palace itself is a significant architectural specimen within the Old Town.
