The standard route follows the inner bay coastline, passing beneath the Old Town walls and along the Dobrota waterfront. Tours are guided by an English-speaking instructor who provides commentary on the bay's coastal features and history. Equipment including kayaks, paddles, life vests and dry bags is provided.

No prior kayaking experience is required. Tours typically last approximately two and a half hours. All tours depart from a launch point on the Kotor waterfront. Group tours follow a set schedule with morning and afternoon departures.
