Beach Clubs in Kotor Bay
Beach clubs and beach bars around the Bay of Kotor combine daytime sun-loungers with evening DJ sessions on bay-side terraces, mostly along the Dobrota waterfront and the inner-bay coast.
The inner bay's beach-club scene is smaller than Budva's and skews towards relaxed beach-bar terraces rather than full club sets. The Dobrota road has a handful of waterfront bars where sun-loungers run €5 to €10 a day and a cocktail menu kicks in around 18:00, with light bites available through the day. Music is usually a DJ-led playlist from late afternoon, with louder evening sessions on Friday and Saturday nights through July and August.
Towards Perast and Risan the beach bars are quieter and more food-led, with Adriatic-style fish plates and grilled seafood served at table. The drinks list is shorter, weighted towards Montenegrin and Croatian wine, local beer (Nikšićko) and standard cocktail classics. Cocktail prices typically sit at €7 to €12 in beach-club venues compared with €5 to €8 in town bars.
The season runs roughly from late May to early October, with the busiest weeks around the Italian and Russian holiday periods in late July and August. Out of season most beach clubs close entirely or operate as a daytime cafe with no music programme. None of the bay's beach clubs charge a cover and reservations are not generally required outside peak weekends.
