The Rakija Man is a well-known informal stop located along the hiking route above Kotor, offering homemade rakija, wine, pomegranate juice, cheese, and cured meats. It is situated on the slopes overlooking the Bay of Kotor and is commonly visited by hikers making their way toward the fortress or exploring the surrounding mountain paths.
Access is via the Ladder of Kotor trail, which begins near the river and follows a steep series of switchbacks up the mountain. The stop is not formally signposted on the trail and may appear on maps under alternative names, such as a cheese shop. Visitors typically reach it on foot as part of a longer hike, stopping briefly before continuing their route.
