We ate at Trattoria Karampana in late spring, when the Old Town was starting to get busy but hadn’t hit full summer chaos yet. It’s tucked slightly away from the main tourist flow, which made it feel calmer and more local than some of the restaurants closer to the gates.
The menu is pretty traditional — seafood, pasta, and meat dishes — and everything we ordered was solid without trying to be fancy. Service was friendly but relaxed, and nothing felt rushed, even as more tables filled up later in the evening. Prices were reasonable for Old Town, especially compared to places right on the main squares. For a straightforward, dependable meal in Kotor, it did exactly what we wanted.
